  • You are in full possession of the copyrights or user rights for this image.
  • You do not violate any third party rights with the use of this image.

File formats
The following file formats are accepted for image uploading (max. 200 MB):

JPG.JPG, .JPEG   Tiff.TIF, .TIFF   EPS.EPS

Color Mode & Conversion
Create your print data in CMYK or Grayscale mode. In Visprodesign® we will convert the supplied print data from RGB to CMYK mode. However, since many RGB colors are outside the reproducible color palette this conversion may lead to loss of accuracy in color reproduction. The color conversion is used to assign a similar but not necessarily identical color value of the original. In addition, print data with transparencies is not permitted!

Resolution
The resolution is a measure of image quality in the printing process. The higher the resolution, the better the print quality. Please avoid the interpolation (increasing resolution) of images since it does not lead to improved results when outputting your print data and only deceives the quality sampler. In addition, please note that despite of high overall resolution all graphic elements in particular lines do not appear too small or too thin for proper print output.

Furthermore, it must be noted that the quality of a photograph changes after each processing or the resolution of an image deteriorates when enlarged. This can lead to an unsharp or pixelated print image. In this case, please reduce the image size or upload a different one.

In principle a camera with at least 12 megapixels is recommended with settings adjusted to the highest picture resolution (4.048 x 3.040 pixels).

In addition, the color appearance in Visprodesign® can vary from monitor to monitor. In some cases monitors are also prone to color inaccuracy since they are displayed in RGB mode. Please note that appearance on monitor will not necessarily correspond to the actual print result.

Quality Control
The display of the quality example is based on the resolution of the uploaded image as well as the image size and it is only an approximate guide value intended for your orientation. However, this display is not possible with EPS files as embedded elements cannot be read. In addition, the positioning and content of the subject, including the spelling will not be checked. Therefore, it is important to remember that all image and text elements are placed within the dashed line (safe area) and background images extend to the outer edge of the image in order to avoid unwanted white edges.

The quality of an image is divided into three levels:

green = Optimal quality → Image is suitable for printing
yellow = Adequate quality → Note: quality is still good but image may appear blurred when printed
red   = Inadequate quality → Error message: image is not printable, please upload another image

The enlargement of a pixel-based image can lead to inadequate quality. This will be signaled to you with an error message in the upper area of the design. Click to open a list of faulty images.

For additional information please use the button i in the quality example.

Please check your design in product or design preview before you place the finished product into the shopping basket. Your order confirms your design and releases it at the same time for production!

Monitor Display
On a computer monitor the image is displayed in RGB mode. Due to the different settings of the screens the display of the colors can vary from monitor to monitor, partially tending to color inaccuracy. Please note that image displayed on monitor may not necessarily appear the same upon being printed. In addition, the screen must be professionally calibrated and profiled for correct color reproduction.
