As your reliable partner for promotional items and printed products, we consistently implement the requirements of the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). Here you will find all relevant information regarding the safety standards of our products.
Our Commitment to Product Safety
Since December 13 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has been in effect. This ensures that all products placed on the European market comply with applicable safety requirements. This includes, in particular, clear labeling of our products, transparent information about potential risks during use, and easily understandable instructions for safe handling.
Vispronet® assures that our printed products are considered safe in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR – link to regulation). When used as intended or in a foreseeable manner, they pose no or only minimal risks, which are deemed acceptable and correspond to a high level of protection for consumer health and safety. Our risk analysis is available to authorities upon request, as stipulated in the regulation. Vispronet® assumes all necessary manufacturer obligations under the GPSR.

According to Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), Vispronet® appoints a responsible person based in the European Union. This person serves as your central contact for all questions regarding product safety and compliance of our printed products.

General precautions for handling our products are listed below.
General Safety Instructions
- Our products are packed in cartons. When unpacking, there is a risk of cuts from carton edges. Please handle with care.
- For large orders, shipping is done on pallets. The wood of the pallet may splinter under load. Exercise caution when handling.
- Packaging films pose a potential suffocation hazard for small children. Please dispose of immediately.
Overview of Product-Specific Safety Instructions
Use: Observe the suitability of the products for outdoor or indoor use. Products intended for indoor use must not be used outdoors.
Place products on stable, level surfaces to avoid risks of falling and reduced stability.
Synthetic materials may generate static electricity. Keep products away from open flames and other ignition sources.
Wind Load: Ensure that products used outdoors are secured or dismantled during strong winds or gusts to prevent damage and accidents. Use additional weights or fasteners if necessary for outdoor use.
Fire Protection: For use at trade fairs, public events, and inside buildings, flame-retardant materials (B1) are often required. Observe the suitability of the respective materials.
Assembly and Handling: Be cautious of pinch and injury hazards during assembly and disassembly. Use protective gloves if necessary.
Care and Storage: Clean products according to care instructions and allow them to dry completely before storage to avoid mildew. Store products in a dry and protected place.
Child Safety: Keep children away during assembly and use to prevent injury hazards.
Wind and Weather Conditions: Ensure that flagpoles are secured or temporarily dismantled during strong winds, gusts, or storms to avoid damage or accidents. Observe the recommended wind speeds.
Assembly Instructions: Observe the suitability of the ground and ensure stability. Please follow the assembly instructions carefully. Risk of falling and injury if improperly anchored or during strong winds. Be cautious of pinch and injury hazards during assembly and disassembly. Use protective gloves if necessary.
Child Safety: Keep children away during assembly and use to prevent injury hazards. Flagpoles are not toys or climbing equipment.
Use: Ensure that products stand on a level surface. For outdoor products, additional weights or fasteners should be used. Maintain sufficient clearance around the products to avoid tripping hazards. Observe the suitability of the products for outdoor or indoor use. Products intended for indoor use must not be used outdoors.
Caution During Assembly: Be cautious of pinch and injury hazards during assembly and disassembly.
Transport and Storage: Transport products carefully to avoid damage. Store products in a dry and protected place.
Ensure that products stand on a level surface. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity indicated on the respective product pages. Observe the suitability of the products for outdoor or indoor use. Products intended for indoor use must not be used outdoors. Secure or remove products during adverse weather conditions such as strong wind, gusts, storms, thunderstorms, rain, or snow.
Wind and Weather Conditions: Ensure that tents are always sufficiently secured to prevent damage or accidents. In adverse weather conditions, tents and pavilions must be dismantled! Use available weights and ballast for additional stabilization.
Assembly Instructions: Follow the enclosed assembly instructions carefully. Ensure the tent is erected on a stable, level surface to minimize fall hazards. Regularly check the tent’s stability during use.
Safety Distances: Maintain sufficient distance from open flames, heat sources, and electrical installations. Tents are not fireproof and should not be placed near ignition sources.
Care and Storage: Clean the tent according to care instructions and allow it to dry completely before storage to prevent mold formation. Store the tent in a dry and protected location.
Attachment: Ensure that tarpaulins and signs are firmly and securely attached to suitable structures. Loose attachments can cause injuries or damage.
Weather Conditions: Remove or secure large-format signs and tarpaulins during strong winds to prevent falling.
Material Warning: Keep tarpaulins and signs away from open flames or heat sources to avoid fire hazards.
Electrical Safety: Use only the supplied or recommended power supplies and cables. Improper components can cause short circuits or fires. Do not open or tamper with the products; risk of electric shock if handled improperly. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially during prolonged use.
Avoid Moisture: Ensure that electrical components do not come into contact with moisture, water, or other liquids.
Regular Inspection: Regularly check cables and connections for damage. Defective parts should be replaced immediately.
Switch Off When Not in Use: Turn off electrical products when not in use to save energy and minimize risks.
Storage: Store products dry and protected to avoid material wear.
Care: Clean products only with recommended methods to prevent damage.
Supervision: Keep children and unauthorized persons away during assembly and use.
Training: Ensure that all persons handling the products are instructed in their safe use.
