The exact specifications for the required resolution of your images can be found on page 1 of the layout template.
Select your product with all options and then download the template. Depending on the selected options, the specifications on the template may vary. Alternatively, you can download the template after order completion via the upload area of your customer account by entering the order number and item position.
Note: Please check your print file at the final print size on the monitor using a graphics program for blurriness or stair-step effects. Avoid interpolating (upscaling) images, as this does not improve the output quality of your print data.
Color Profile
Create your print data in CMYK and use the color profile ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc to achieve the most accurate color gamut possible. This color profile can be downloaded free of charge from the European Color Initiative website (www.eci.org). Alternatively, you may use your own color profiles. Please embed these profiles before saving.
Grayscale images are also acceptable.
Data for digital printing submitted in RGB mode will be automatically converted to CMYK before printing. Please note that differing color spaces may alter the color appearance of your data. For screen printing processes, RGB data is not usable. Please always send CMYK data for this process or consult with our service team to coordinate the next steps.
Conversion in Visprodesign®
Create your print data preferably in CMYK or grayscale mode. In Visprodesign®, if necessary, we convert submitted print data from RGB to CMYK mode. However, since many RGB colors lie outside the reproducible color gamut, this conversion may result in color accuracy losses. The color conversion assigns a similar but not necessarily identical new color to the original color value. Additionally, print data with transparencies is not permitted!
Monitor Display
Computer monitors display in RGB mode. Due to different screen settings, color representation may vary from monitor to monitor. Some monitors also tend to have color casts. Please note that the display on your monitor does not necessarily correspond to the final print result. Accurate color reproduction can only be achieved through professional calibration and profiling of a suitable monitor.
Printout/Proof
Especially for large quantities, we recommend a color-accurate printout. You will receive this as an original printout from our in-house proofing system by mail. Upon your approval, the proof print will be used as a reference for the intended color deviation. Please note that comparability is limited due to different printing substrates. Alternatively, we offer the option to order a press proof of a section of the image in a maximum size of A3 (digital print orders) or in original size (only for screen printing orders). This is always produced on the original material and thus provides a realistic representation of the expected color deviation.
For maximum color accuracy, we are happy to process your files with additional spot colors. Please select from the color systems Pantone, HKS, or RAL. Create a solid color channel in your file for each spot color to be printed.
Digital printing: An especially intense deep black is achieved by using a spot color labeled Black. If the spot colors are correctly named, no additional order is necessary; the colors will be automatically taken from your file. This service is completely free of charge for digital printing orders.
Screen printing: For screen printing products, all colors must be specified individually in the order, as a separate printing screen must be produced for each color.
Thanks to state-of-the-art printing technology and well-designed process management, we do not require any additional markings such as registration marks or crop marks. Therefore, please do not include any such marks in your file, as this may disrupt the smooth production process.

Transparencies often lead to undesirable print results. For this reason, print data should not contain transparency effects. Always convert or rasterize these areas. Before converting raster effects, ensure that the settings in the document raster effect settings match the specified resolution on the layout template.
Embed fonts completely in your document or convert them to outlines/curves.
Note: In Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, this function is found under the Menu Type Create Outlines. In Adobe Photoshop, convert the text layer using the Convert to Shape function: Menu Type.
The minimum line thickness depends on the selected material and the printing process used. Specific information for your desired product can be found on page 1 of the layout template. Select your product with all options and then download the template. Alternatively, you can download it after order completion via the upload area of your customer account by entering the order number and item position.
The values always refer to the original size of your chosen product and are indicated as "positive" for dark details on a light background and "negative" for light contours on a dark background. Adhering to these specifications ensures legible text and QR codes as well as optimal display of small details.
The options Overprint/Underfill are not required and therefore must not be included in the file.
Printable comments must not be present in the print data, as they would otherwise appear on the finished product.
For print data creation, free and print-ready layout templates are available for each product. You can find these on the respective product detail page. After submitting your order and receiving the order confirmation via email, you can also access the corresponding layout templates under My Account Data Upload. Please select the order number and the item.
The first page of the provided layout templates summarizes the most important information (product information, design instructions, and a corresponding sketch) for your product. Please use the template shown on the second page to create your graphic in a graphic program. Place your own image and text elements and pay attention to the established control paths.
Please use the layout template without changing the print data format. More detailed information can be found in the Layout Templates section.
Please save the Vispronet® job options to your computer and then load them into your graphic program (Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign). This way, you generate PDFs from which we can optimally process your print data. Information on using the job options can be found here.
Note: The job options are not suitable for Adobe Distiller or CorelDraw.
