Your print data is turned into printed advertising materials and self-designed products for leisure use at our location in Kamenz. This requires ink, material, machines and, of course, electricity. We generate part of this electricity directly on site. Here you can find out how we store solar power and which printing technology we use.
Solar power from our own facility
A look at the roofs of our production facility in Kamenz shows 3,170 solar modules. Together, they achieve a total output of over 1,400 kWp.
Not every kilowatt-hour generated is needed immediately. Four HUAWEI LUNA 2000 storage packages store part of this solar power. Each package has a capacity of 200 kWh. This allows the stored electricity to be used in production at a later time.

In 2025, the photovoltaic system and our storage systems charged exclusively with solar power covered around 64 % of the total electricity consumption at the location.

Modern printing technology in use
At our production facility in Kamenz, we operate two printing machines from Durst: the P5 500i D4 and the P5 350 HS. Both cure the applied ink using LED UV light. This technology replaced the xenon lamps previously used. LEDs deliver their full output immediately after being switched on. A warm-up phase is not required, and less heat reaches the printed material than with conventional UV lamps.
Tested emissions of Durst Roll LED ink
The Durst Roll LED inks used for both machines are certified according to GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold respectively (for decorative wall applications). These certificates confirm compliance with specified limits for chemical emissions.
GREEN Plus – recycled materials for sustainable advertising media
Resource-conserving and environmentally friendly: GREEN Plus printing substrates consist of 100% recycled PET bottles, are Global Recycled Standard certified, and save up to 3 kg CO₂ per 1 kg PET. Thanks to their high-quality properties, they are comparable to conventional materials and convince with individual printability, high lightfastness, and brilliant colors.
